AQS to be accredited installer of FIREMAC fire protection systems
We’re very pleased to announce that from September 2016 AQS will be an approved installer of Firemac fire protection systems.
Firemac products are complemented by Firemac FM Blue, a high impact and fire resistant non-combustible panel that can be incorporated into the fabric of the building to protect life and property.
Their fire-rated ductwork is particularly popular and is a commonly requested product. At AQS we prefer FM Fire Duct systems because they are extensively tested and assessed to British Quality Standard BS 476.
FM products are versatile too, they can be used for fire resisting ventilation, smoke extract, kitchen extract and pressurisation ducts to prevent fire and smoke from spreading through a building. Insulated and uninsulated systems are available.
Technically speaking Firemac FM Blue is a high impact, non-combustible fire protection board comprising a central cementitious core that is faced on both sides with specially designed, mechanically bonded, galvanised steel.
